Amazing little place nestled by the lake shore with great outdoor seating and amazing views. Food was awesome and service was great. Will for sure return in a future trip.

Lakes End Cafe and Grill was recommended to me from someone answering a question I asked on a Facebook page about Wayah Road. Great little restaurant on the lake and on a beautiful road! When we arrived around midafternoon, the parking lot was full. Despite that, we were seated on the back deck overlooking the lake when we walked in. Shortly after being seated, our waitress came and got our drink orders. All of the food I seen being brought out looked delicious! We all ended up ordering burgers and the couple with us got an order of the corn nugget appetizer (sauce was delicious). The burgers were made to order, cooked fresh and delicious! The owner of the restaurant brought the food out to us and then later returned to see how everything was. We mentioned to him about how good the ribs looked that were brought out to another table. He told us about them and also about the prime rib special they have on Saturday evenings. He surprised us a few minutes later with a small sample of the ribs and they were some of the best I have ever had. We will definitely be going back in the spring when they reopen for the season. The owner also told us about some cabins and yurts that he has for rent nearby and gave us some brochures. We will be planning an overnight / weekend trip to enjoy the yurts and prime rib! I HIGHLY recommend Lakes End Cafe and Grill. We are from the Charlotte, NC area and it is worth the drive! The food is excellent as well as the service and atmosphere. You know you are at a quality restaurant that cares about you and your experience when the owner brings your food and is walking around checking with everyone about their food and satisfaction.

Lakes End Cafe and Grill offers a delightful dining experience. The service is impressively quick, and the staff is exceptionally friendly. Laura, in particular, stands out as an amazing waitress, providing top-notch service with a smile. The restaurant maintains a high standard of cleanliness, making it a pleasant place to enjoy a meal. You can dine inside or out on the covered porch while enjoying a view of the lake. Highly recommended!

I really enjoyed this restaurant. You HAVE TO sit outside to get the full effect. The inside is small, crowded and noisy but the deck out back is a delight as it overlooks the lake and the beautiful grounds. Both the service and food were excellent and I really can't wait to go back. I'd love to rent a boat and go out to the lake, looks magnificent

My family and I are locals and absolutely love to take a drive and eat lunch or dinner here. The restaurant is situated on Nantahala Lake with a beautiful area by the water to sit and enjoy. Get there early! During dinner there is usually a wait due to how small the restaurant is inside, but it is completely worth it. The servers are all very friendly and attentive, and the food is delicious! I think about their mac and cheese bites all the time!

Excellent food. I had the wayah power bowl that came out missing the chicken but the staff quickly rectified that. My husband had the club sandwich, it was huge and our daughter had the shrimp basket. Very fresh and delicious food. Great atmosphere

Amazing food, service and view. The food was very fresh. I had a turkey melt but the burgers were very yummy tooo. Make sure to bring a jacket. Gets cold in summer.

This place is a hidden gem! Food was amazing, people were friendly, and the view was beautiful. Great atmosphere overall. Will definitely be ordering some "Pizza by Boat" before I head home.
